Bitcoin (BTC) pushed above the $6,300 mark for the first time since November 2018. The price for the cryptocurrency has doubled since mid-December 2018.
Bitcoin was generally trading under $4000 in 2019 until April when it surged above $5000 and has continued to climb until now.
Bitcoin reached $20,000 by Dec.19th 2017 before declining in 2018. Many analysts expect the price of the cryptocurrency to continue rising.
