The US military briefed President Trump’s national security aides on a plan that would deploy up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East, according to national security officials cited in a report published Monday.
The reported proposal calls for the deployment of troops in the event that the US government orchestrates a false flag against Iran. The plan, as is, does not indicate if US troops would invade Iran.
The latest military plan is an updated version of a cyberwarfare operation called “Nitro Zeus,” that would target Iran’s power grid and military. The plan was updated and the latest changes were influenced by John Bolton, the well known mustachioed warmonger.
Iran has been on the US hit list for over a decade. News of the plan comes amid increasing threats from the US government against Iran. Recently, the US government deployed a carrier strike group and bomber task force to the Middle East.
