Southern Angola is facing the worst drought in decades, with at least 2.3 million people at high risk of suffering malnutrition.
Farmers have seen their entire crops destroyed and ranchers are struggling to find enough grass and water for their livestock.
It hasn’t rained since November and thousands of farmers have been left with no harvest.
Ranchers have been forced to make their annual trek with their cattle three months early, in desperate search of greener pastures. Few of the animals are expected to survive, and many thousands have died already.
