Lawmaker Beat Up His Wife For “Undressing Too Slowly”

Mississippi State Rep. Douglas McLeod was arrested for punching his wife in the face when he wanted to have sex and she was “undressing too slowly,” according to a report filled with the George County Sheriff’s Department.

The 58-year-old Republican was reportedly intoxicated when cops arrived at his home.

Cops saw blood on the couple’s bed and on the bedroom floor and McLeod’s wife’s face was bloodied and she was shaking, according to an investigative report.

McLeod’s wife told the cops that her husband “just snapped,” as he frequently does when he is drunk, according to the report.

The police report said when officers arrived on May 18, McLeod had a “glass of alcohol.” When the cops told McLeod they had been called to the house because of a report of domestic assault, Mcleod replied, “Are you kidding me?”

A woman at the scene said McLeod’s wife ran into her room with a bloody face and she locked the door. McLeod threatened to “kill her fucking dog” if she didn’t open the door.
