A top official in the Trump administration said ICE agents are ready to start rounding up and deporting 1 million people.
The acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Ken Cuccinelli, spoke of the enthusiasm of ICE agents:
“They’re ready to just perform their mission, which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders.” Cuccinelli made comments on “Face the Nation” on Sunday.
The comments from Cuccinelli echo threats Donald Trump made last week, when he said mass deportation raids would start sometime after the July 4th holiday weekend.
